Quick Notes

  • Our Facebook page now has it's name: www.facebook.com/blogoklahomaus

  • I realize it's been a while, but expect a new episode of BlogOklahoma.us' Exploring Oklahoma History podcast in a few weeks. I've finally have my schedule in order so I can work on it.

  • Our marker pages now have KML support. Any historic place we have a GPS for will now have a KML link under "Map Coordinates". KML files are used with Google Earth.

  • Historic Places Database updates continue. Our staff (all two of us) got behind due to connection and scheduling issues. Since most of those issues have been resolved, we are filling in new places every week now.

  • Now that I have Google Apps up and running for BlogOklahoma.us, It's possible to for me to build some new features that will help you help us. Watch the blog for more on that a bit later.

  • And lastly, I've dropped the "This Week in Oklahoma History" segment from the Blog Oklahoma Podcast. It was time to try other things over on our sister site's podcast. But don't worry Oklahoma history buffs, there is something else. Check out the Oklahoma Journeys Podcast presented by the Oklahoma Historical Society.
