Cheyenne-Arapaho Old Settlers Reunion

This year the Cheyenne-Arapaho Old Settlers Reunion is a part of the Oklahoma Centennial Celebration.

Activities are planned from Monday, April 16th through Saturday, April 21nd.

Among the special events are the dedication of a centennial clock on April 16th, and the dedication of a centennial building during the week.

Tuesday, April 17th
Registration, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Styles of Yesteryear, Whiskers and Fiddlers Contest, Cheyenne School Auditorium, 7 p.m.

Wednesday, April 18th
Registration, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Gospel Hymn Sing, School Auditorium, 7 p.m.
Thursday, April 19th
Registration, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Roll One Room School, 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; Old Tyme Radio Hour, School Auditorium, 7 p.m.
Friday, April 20th
Registration, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Roll One Room School, 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; National Park Service Cultural Heritage Center Grand Opening, 10 a.m.; PRCA Rodeo, 7 p.m.; Old Timers Dance, old gym, 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.; Rodeo dance, ag pavilion, 9 p.m. to 1 p.m. Dances also on April 21.
Saturday, April 21st
Registration, 9 a.m. to noon; Pioneer nine-mile foot race, starts in Strong City, 8 a.m.; Parade, 10 a.m.; Free barbecue, city park, noon; Afternoon street entertainment; PRCA Rodeo, 2 p.m.; Cheyenne-Strong City Alumni, 6 p.m.
