Mark of Heritage
If you're interested in looking for markers in your area, go to your local library and check out the book Mark of Heritage by Muriel H. Wright.
This book was published in 1976 so obviously it won't have any of the markers added since then, but it will definitely help you find some of the older ones, or at least where they were at one time.
If your library doesn't have this book or someone keeps checking it out (probably me), try the web site Fort Tours (www.forttours.com). They have several pages of the book scanned in with even more reference material.
Oklahoma Maps (Each location has a scanned page): If you would like to purchase a copy of this book, you will need to find it used. I've seen it listed on Amazon and Alibis.
