Oklahoma Heritage Association

The Oklahoma Heritage Association is the leader in the promotion of the Heritage of the great state of Oklahoma. As the voice of the state we will promote living history through the lives of people rather than things. We will influence Oklahomans by transferring the Heritage of yesterday’s leaders to the leaders of today and tomorrow. We will LEAD the state in publishing, scholarship and promotion of the great people of our great state.

Listed among the National Register of Historic Buildings, the Mid-Continent Life Insurance building will become home to the Oklahoma Heritage Center in fall 2006. First, the nearly 80-year-old building at 1400 Classen Dr. is undergoing a $15 million restoration that began recently.
