Total Solar Eclipse
There's going to be a total solar eclipse visible in the United States on August 21, 2017. Here in Oklahoma though we'll only get a partial solar eclipse. About 85% of the sun will be blocked by the moon.
If you want to see the totality, you can drive up to St. Joseph, MO. (Only about 5 hours (368.2 mi) via I-35 N from Oklahoma City, OK)
Here in Oklahoma the partial eclipse will happen on August 21st from 11:30a to 2:30p with maximum coverage around 1:05p.
Remember to be safe when viewing the eclipse. NEVER look directly at the sun with your naked eyes. Click here for how to safely view the eclipse.
