Arbuckle Country?
Okay I must have missed the memo. When did Lake and Trail Country become Arbuckle Country?
While updating some information for the new web site I discovered some broken links for Lake and Trail Country. Upon investigation I found out the region had been renamed, by I'm guessing the Oklahoma Tourism Department, to Arbuckle Country. Arbuckle definitely fits the region better, and I actually like it. It's just a whole Oklahoma tourism region has a new name, and I didn't know about it. So for the last few years since at least 2006, I've been suggesting people check out Lake and Trail Country for more information about south central Oklahoma (a beautiful area I might add). So at some point between then and I think 2009 the name was changed, new web sites went up, old web sites disappeared, and I've inadvertently been confusing people since then. O_o
Well now that I know there's a new name, I'm updating everything. So now I can at least encourage people to visit Red Carpet Country, Great Plains Country, Frontier Country, Green Country, Kiamichi Country, and now Arbuckle Country.
