Received this from e-mail this morning. The Oklahoma History Center and OHS Kids are having a student art contest this fall.
The Oklahoma History Center and the OHS Kids! website invite students to participate the "This is My Family" Student Art Contest, just in time for Family History Month! Students can use pencil, crayon, or paint to show us how they see their family.
The contest is open to grades 1st-3rd and 4th-6th. First, second and third place prizes will be awarded in each category. Entries will be accepted now until October 31, 2008.
Winners will be announced during the second week of November on the OHS Kids! website. The artwork of the winning students & honorable mention recipients will be framed and displayed in the Oklahoma History Center.
