Former President Bill Clinton will be in Oklahoma later this month to campaign for his wife, Hillary Rodham Clinton, ahead of the Feb. 5 Democratic presidential primary election.

Chickasaw Nation officials conducted a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Sick Child Care Center at 10 a.m. Wednesday at 224 Rosedale Road in Ada, near other Chickasaw Nation child care facilities.

State Superintendent Sandy Garrett said Thursday that lottery funds raised for Oklahoma schools should be given directly to each district, rather than allowing the Legislature to determine how the money is spent.
