New State Highway Signs
The Oklahoma Department of Transportation is going to upgrade our state highway signs. No long will we have the plain black sign with a white circle on it. Now we will have a white sign with an Oklahoma outline on it.

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation is changing the state's highway signs for the first time in more than 40 years, department Director Gary Ridley told transportation commissioners Monday.(via Okiedoke)
The new signs will show the number of the highway inside the outline of a map of Oklahoma. About a dozen other states incorporate state maps in their road signs.
