Prairie Dog Families
Last Saturday a friend and I went to the Wichita Wildlife Refuge. While we were there we went out to Prairie Dog Town. It's located on the western part of the refuge. Wichita Wildlife Refuge is northwest of the Lawton/Ft. Sill area.

There were a lots of mommies, daddies, and babies. We gave them some corn chips. They were not afraid of us. This is the first time that I have seen so many babies, and were so cute.

We also saw buffaloes and longhorned cattle across the road from the prairie dogs.
