Route 66 News found the complete Academy Award winning movie "The Grapes of Wrath" at Google Video.
Oklahoma in the Thirties is a dustbowl and dispossessed farmers migrate westward to California. After terrible trials en route they become little more than slave labor. Among the throng are the Joads who refuse to knuckle under. - IMDB
In one famous scene in this movie you can see the Beckham County Courthouse in Sayre, Oklahoma, as the Joad family journeys down Route 66 towards California.



The movie was based on the the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck.
